Good to know
Self Assessment — your questions
When is my Self Assessment due?
Online returns and any tax owed are generally due by 31 January following the end of the tax year. We work well ahead of that so you're never rushing — and you know your bill in good time.
I'm newly self-employed — do I need to file?
If you've earned untaxed income — for example as a sole trader, freelancer or landlord — you'll usually need to register and file. We'll confirm whether it applies to you and handle the registration if so.
What if I've missed a deadline?
Don't panic. We can get a late return filed correctly and help you deal with HMRC, minimising further penalties and getting you back on track.
